Nick Chubb Injury: Updates on Georgia Star's Knee and Return

Allie LaForce of CBS Sports reported Chubb collapsed after leaving the training table and heading for a cart. He regained consciousness on the cart and was taken to the locker room. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Chubb went from the cart to an ambulance.
Head coach Mark Richt said the team is "pretty hopeful that it won’t require surgery, but is not 100 percent sure of that. We’ve got to get some confirmation," per Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner Herald.
Sports Illustrated's Zac Ellis noted on Twitter that the CBS broadcast would not be showing the replay of Chubb's injury due to its graphic nature.
Former Georgia running back Todd Gurley and former South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore, both of whom suffered gruesome leg injuries in their college careers, tweeted their condolences to Chubb:
