Oliseh's Eagles Ignore Enyeama To Hand Lions First Loss In 6

Sunday Oliseh’s boys put the disappointment of last week behind them to hand Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions their first defeat in six games.
Goals by Efe Ambrose, Simon Moses and super-sub, Odion Ighalo were all the resurgent Eagles required to ensure Oliseh has not lost two games back-to-back since he took over as the team’s coach.
The team were coordinated from the blast of the whistle and were impressive throughout the match to make it nine wins for Nigeria in twenty encounters between the pair.
All is set for the international friendly between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
Both teams have met nineteen times in the past, with Cameroon being the less successful of the pair having won four times, while Nigeria boast a massive eight wins and seven draw between the pair.
The last time both teams met was at the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia, where Nigeria defeated the Lions 2-1.
Coming into this match, however, Cameroon boast a superior form record with five wins in their last six matches while Oliseh’s newly assembled side have just two wins from the same number of matches played.
This match also presents Coach Oliseh the opportunity to restore confidence and unity to the team following the unceremonious exit of erstwhile captain, Vincent Enyeamam which has hugged the headlines in the last one week.
The team list for both teams are as Naij.com sports reported .
