Licence to thrill: Georgia May Foote wows on Strictly – but partner sparks fury

Former Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote proved she had a licence to thrill with her latest Strictly Come Dancing performance.
But her dance partner Giovanni Pernice sparked the wrath of judge Len Goodman with his head shaking.
Brunette beauty Georgia and debonair professional Giovanni performed a stirring rumba routine to Sam Smith’s The Writing’s On The Wall from the new James Bond film Spectre.
But Len was less than impressed after hunky Sicilian Giovanni shook his head at fellow judge Bruno Tonioli as he gave his verdict on their performance.
He snapped: “All that shaking your head really gets on my wick so I’m going to tell you the truth.

“Too much posturing, posing and larking about. Two openings and one forward basic does not constitute a rumba in my world!”
Following Len’s surprise outburst Stockport-born host Tess Daly said: “That’s a smack on the wrist for you Giovanni.
“You won’t be doing that again!”
The pair then made their way up the stairs where they were greeted by co-host Claudia Winkleman.
She joked: “You made Len angry - he never gets angry.
“You must never do that again.”
Georgia, who played young mum Katy Armstrong in Corrie, revealed she often gives Giovanni a telling off during rehearsals for shaking his head.
And Len’s telling off appeared to have affected the score because he gave them a six - while the others gave them sevens,
