crashes car into horse drawn cart

A group of four people including a five-year-old girl were killed when a car driven by a top model smashed into a horse drawn cart.
Diana Dinu, who won the title of Miss Romania in 2014, smashed into the carriage when it unexpectedly pulled out into the path of her car.
Four of the cart’s passengers died while four others are currently hospitalised in a critical condition.
Miss Dinu, who was driving an Audi, was unharmed with her three passengers.

The cart’s driver, Marian Batoaga, 46, was drunk at the time of the crash, and pulled out into the road without checking for oncoming traffic, according to police.
Four of the dead victims were from the same family. They are named as Dorel Constantin, 52, Corina Constantin, 42, Gabriela Constantin, 5, and Cosmin Rinza, 26

County Police spokesman Adrian Huzum said the driver of the cart could face drink-driving charges and an investigation has since been launched.
Dinu, who was voted Miss Globe Romania 2014, is set to represent her country in the final stage of the modelling competition in Turkey this November.
